Dr Munther Sulieman BDS Ph.D

I obtained my Bachelor of Dentistry degree (BDS) at University College Hospital in London in 1991. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in general dental practice and have also undertaken part-time research at both the Department of Oral and Dental Science at the University of Bristol and Guy’s Dental Institute at King’s College London. I am a Part-Time Clinical Teacher at the Institute of Dentistry, Barts and The London Medical and Dental School, Queen Mary University of London.

To further my professional development, I completed a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bristol in 2001. Following this, I went on to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on the subject of tooth whitening techniques, also at the University of Bristol.

Many dentists attend my clinic to observe the treatments I perform. I teach postgraduate programmes and deliver both hands-on and lecture-based learning sessions across the UK and internationally, with a focus on composite layering and tooth whitening.

As a Dental Phobia–certified dentist, I am committed to addressing discomfort during dental treatments by offering a range of pain-free procedures that provide both general oral health and cosmetic benefits.

To support anxious patients, I use effective distraction therapy, and I also employ fluid abrasion as a drill-free treatment technique to enhance comfort.

I am also a licensee of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
